$200 billion broadband scandal; exploiting foreign workers


  • $200 billion broadband scandal. Evidently, telecom companies promised that they'd wire America in exchange for some financial incentives from the US government. They didn't deliver, but they profited greatly. (via digg)

  • Companies are posting ads looking for "H-1B visa holders only." See, it's easier to exploit imported employees. This is why we need to increase our quotas for H-1B visas. Sigh.
